Evotem is pleased to offer AOTMP's Environment Assessment — as part of our Environment Management Solution or stand-alone — Telecom Environment Assessments provide a means to evaluate and measure the financial and operational state of your telecom environment. The online assessment examines many areas of your telecom and IT infrastructure. Assessment submissions are scored, and feedback provides predictive indicators, identifies potential areas of improvement, and suggests next steps based on best practices.

Discipline areas of focus
The Environment Assessment is focused on the seven disciplines of AOTMP’s Telecom Environment Management Model. Each discipline area contributes to your organization’s overall ability to create an optimal telecom environment.
 
> Resource Management – Human capital, development, and assignment are evaluated
> Process Management – Documentation, evaluation, maintenance, and improvements for process management are evaluated
> Technical Management – Design, implementation, maintenance, and repair processes are evaluated
> Asset Management – Equipment, services, licenses, and contract management are evaluated
> Project Management – Project structure, ownership, performance, and success monitoring are evaluated
> Relationship Management – Vendors, suppliers, carriers, and internal customer management and support processes are evaluated
> Financial Management – Budgeting, performance tracking, cost avoidance, cost containment, and cost optimization practices are evaluated

Evaluation of the telecom management disciplines includes key indicator questions regarding your existing processes, business needs and objectives,
and performance to determine the state of your environment. Your aggregate score is a predictive index for the overall probability of management processes producing desired and optimal results for your environment. Within the scoring range, each of the seven disciplines of telecom environment management are evaluated and scored. The overall assessment score indicates your organization’s readiness to proactively capitalize on financial and operational opportunities across the environment.
 
Telecom environments scoring on the lower end of the scale may conclude that Service Inventory Validation, Optimization, and Process Review is needed to create opportunities for optimal process performance supporting environment stewardship. A score closer to the highest end of the scale indicates responses given in the assessment represent a high degree of environment stewardship across environment management disciplines.

Measuring performance and improvement
Assessment scores are delivered in reference manual format, and includes aggregate environment assessment score, scores within each discipline area, and recommended courses of action in areas scoring below the target range.
